We Need You to Join Us!
Finding our ancestors using DNA requires the comparison of data from many people. Given enough data, we will be able to work our way back in time to ever more distant ancestors.
If you are a descendant of a branch that currently has no one in the Project, we especially need your participation. To have the best data, we need a minimum of three people from each branch.
I already know my ancestry. Why should I participate?
People with proven pedigrees provide the benchmark the rest of us need. Your data is very important to the group effort for that reason.
Our knowledge of our ancestry will grow as more people participate and we encourage you to join us.

- * Anyone descended from a Cloud family can join the Project.
- Participation is not restricted to Cloud Family Association members.
- * The Y-STR CLOUD Surname Project can only use data from men who are a descendant through the male-only line of a CLOUD male ancestor.
- Your pedigree is required to facilitate comparison and analysis of your data.
